Audio best practices
The clearest speech feed produces the strongest live caption and translation result.
- Take speech directly from the church sound desk when possible.
- Use a dedicated interface or stable input connection to the Windows computer.
- Keep speech strong and clear without clipping or distortion.
- Use close, consistent microphone technique.
- Select the input actually carrying speech before starting.
- Choose the correct Speaker Language.
- Keep music and unnecessary room sound out of the speech feed where possible.
- Expect overlapping speakers, strong reverberation and singing to be harder to recognise than one clear voice.
Use the Operator Test control and live preview before every service.
