A simpler way
Less equipment. Less coordination.
Human interpretation remains valuable, especially where exact interpretation is essential. But for regular multilingual church services, the traditional setup can require considerable coordination.
Traditional translation setup
More moving parts
- Interpreter scheduling
- Separate audio feed
- Headsets and receivers
- Batteries and charging
- Hand-out and return
- Equipment storage
Logos Translate
One operator. One link.
- Existing church audio
- One operator app
- One reusable QR code
- Viewers use their own phones
- Flexible translation-language slots
For services where exact interpretation is critical, a qualified human interpreter may still be the appropriate choice.

AI-powered, clearly explained
Helpful technology with honest limitations.
Logos Translate uses automated speech recognition and machine translation to create live captions and translated text. Like all AI-generated language tools, captions and translations can contain mistakes or delays.
Clear audio and well-positioned church audio feeds help produce better results.
Questions churches usually ask.
How does live church translation work?
Connect your church sound system to the Windows operator app, choose a supported speaker language and the translation languages needed for this service, then start the session. Logos Translate turns speech into live captions and, on a paid plan, translated text. Your congregation opens the church link or scans its reusable QR code.
Do viewers need to install an app?
No. Viewers open the church’s reusable link in a modern browser on their own phone, tablet or computer. No viewer account is required. The church operator uses the Windows app and an internet connection.
How many viewers can join?
Viewers are unlimited. The number of people reading captions does not change the monthly subscription price. Each viewer still needs a reliable internet connection.
What languages are currently supported?
Choose from 60 supported languages for source captions and translation. Every paid plan includes one flexible simultaneous translated target, with up to 5 optional extra translation slots. Choose the languages in the Operator app for each service; you buy capacity, not permanent language assignments.
How many translated languages can we use at once?
Every paid plan includes one simultaneous translated language. Add up to 5 extra translation slots for a maximum of 6 simultaneous translated targets. Extra slots are priced according to the selected plan, starting from A$5 per slot each month. Purchased slots may be reassigned to different languages from service to service. Source captions remain always available.
Is Audio Translation available? How does it work?
Yes. A church can enable Audio Translation when creating its plan or later from the church dashboard.
Audio Translation is available through the public viewer page. A listener chooses a translated language and starts audio playback through their own device, normally using headphones.
Translated audio is generated only when a viewer requests audio for that language.
The cost is A$0.10 per minute of translated audio actually generated, per language. If no translated audio is generated, nothing is billed.
For example, a church has Audio Translation enabled and one extra language slot. During a one-hour service, the operator translates from Vietnamese into Portuguese and Arabic. One viewer listens in Portuguese and two viewers listen in Arabic.
If translated audio is generated for the full 60 minutes in both Portuguese and Arabic, billing is:
- 60 generated minutes of Portuguese audio
- 60 generated minutes of Arabic audio
- 120 generated translated-audio minutes in total
The number of listeners does not multiply the cost. Two people listening to the same Arabic audio stream still count as one generated Arabic audio stream.
If, across those selected languages, only 40 minutes of translated audio are actually generated, the church is charged for only those 40 generated minutes.
Can viewers listen to translated audio?
Yes. When the church enables the optional Audio Translation add-on, viewers can opt in through the browser and listen with headphones. Audio Translation costs A$0.10 per generated translated audio minute, per language — not per listener. Only audio that is actually generated is charged. Text captions remain available.
How much does church translation software cost?
Logos Translate paid plans start at A$25 per month in Australian dollars for 5 hours. All paid plans include source captions in 60 languages, one flexible translated target, unlimited viewers and the Church Licence. Extra language slots are plan-priced from A$5/month each.
Do we need a credit card for the free trial?
No. A new eligible church receives 4 hours of source captions in any of the 60 supported languages to use within 30 days. The standard trial does not include translation or translated audio and does not automatically start a paid subscription.
Does it work with our existing church audio?
Use an audio input connected to your Windows computer, such as the church mixer feed through a compatible audio interface. Check the input meter and preview captions before the service. A clear speech feed and stable internet help; room noise, music and overlapping speakers can reduce accuracy.
Can it replace interpreter receiver equipment?
For congregations choosing automated captions or translation, viewers can use their own phones instead of dedicated receivers. This is not the same as a human interpretation service. Keep qualified interpreters and other access arrangements where exact interpretation or individual needs require them.
How are monthly hours measured?
Hours are measured while an authorised live caption session processes church audio. The church shares one monthly allowance, regardless of active purchased translation slots. Unused hours do not roll over. There is no caption-time overage billing; access is limited when the allowance is exhausted.
How accurate is AI church translation?
AI captions and translations can contain errors or delays, particularly with names, theology, accents, overlapping speakers and unclear audio. Check the operator preview and clarify important misunderstandings. Do not rely on automated output where a qualified interpreter is required.
