Audio Source / Microphone

Select the input that carries the clearest speech from your church sound system.

  1. Connect the inputUse the built-in microphone for a simple test, or connect a compatible USB audio interface or digital mixer feed.
  2. Refresh devicesOpen Audio Source / Microphone and refresh after connecting or changing hardware.
  3. Select the deviceChoose the input carrying the preacher or service speech.
  4. Use TestSpeak at normal service volume and confirm the input meter moves clearly without clipping.
  5. Keep the selectionLogos Translate remembers the selected device where the operating system continues to identify it.
Mac microphone permission. Choose Allow when macOS asks for access. If you previously denied it, open System Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone, enable Logos Translate, restart the app, then refresh devices.
