macOS Operator app

The macOS Operator has the same church sign-in, caption, translation, Viewer and Displays features as the Windows Operator.

  1. Install from your Church DashboardDownload the approved macOS DMG, open it and drag Logos Translate to Applications. Eject the DMG before launching from Applications. If Gatekeeper blocks the app, record the message and contact support; do not disable Gatekeeper.
  2. Choose your church and speech feedSign in, select your workspace, connect the mixer or microphone, choose Audio Source / Microphone and press Test. The input meter should move without clipping.
  3. Allow microphone accessApprove the macOS prompt. If it was denied, enable Logos Translate in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone, then refresh devices. Test again after switching to a USB interface.
  4. Start and check captionsSelect Speaker Language and translated languages, start Live Captions and check the Operator preview and Viewer on another device. Translated audio remains available when enabled for the church.
  5. Configure DisplaysBroadcast Overlay and Projector use the same Operator preferences. Keep both devices on the same private LAN. Allow macOS Local Network access if prompted and recopy the display URL after changing networks.
  6. Stop and updateStop the session when the service ends. When a newer approved macOS release is offered, close Logos Translate and replace the copy in Applications from the new church-dashboard DMG.
